Hi, I'm Anna.

I’m a photographer of children, childhood, and families.

Making art about your life is one of the greatest joys of mine. When I take your picture, I witness the things that make you interesting, tender, strong, and loving, and reflect that beauty back to you in photos that you’ll keep forever.

I live with my partner and our two young children on several wooded acres in North Carolina. They are my favorite people. Your children are my second favorite people!

The most important audience for my photos?
Your children, fifty years from now.

Kids are my favorite people.

I love to photograph them doing their thing, and learn more about their lives and how they think. I always imagine the children I photograph looking back on the photos we make together when they are adults, and seeing how interesting and wonderful they were as children, and how deeply they are loved.
